I should have reached out to that person.
I should have asked more questions.
I should have tried one more time.
I should have made one more phone call.
I should have chosen not to believe everything that was said to me.
I should have listened to wise insight.
I should have stopped and actually listen.
I should have pushed through no matter the obstacle.
I should have gained a broader perspective.
I should have grasped that not everything on the surface is what it truly seems to be.
You should have.
But you didn’t.
And you won’t.
Or will you?
Life is filled with “I should have” moments. But here is the truth: You still can.
Stop making excuses. Stop hiding behind your excuses.
Either confidently say, “I chose not to.”
Or choose to shift directions and actually do what you “should have done.” That is the reality about all of your “I should have” moments. You can most definitely reverse directions and chart a different course.
It’s your choice.
It’s up to you.
